Blog Tips: How to Make Money Blogging

There are many different ways to make money blogging.  You can:

• sell advertisements on your blog
• write sponsored posts where people pay you to write about their company
• be an affiliate and be paid for people clicking through advertisements

Sell Advertisements

You can select a place on your blog where you will have advertisements.  You can change a daily, weekly or monthly fee to place someone’s advertisement on your page.  This is a good way to make money, IF you do not allow too many at one time.  If you allow multiple advertisements, your page may become spammy-looking, which could deter some readers.

Write Sponsored Posts

This is a fantastic way to make a little extra money.  People will pay you to write about their business, product or whatever.  You can set the fee or negotiate a price.  Some people may also be willing to just send you a product for you to review.  I have done this and it is fabulous.  You aren’t actually getting “paid”, but you get free products to try out!

Become an Affiliate

This is the BEST way to get your blog making money!  You sign up with various companies to become an affiliate and get paid each time someone clicks on whatever link you put up.  The links can be advertisements on the side of your blog, within a blog post or whatever.  You can make the most money this way!  My favorite affiliate program is Escalate, you can sign up HERE!  It’s really simple and you can make lots of money!
