Slip and Slides are lots of fun….but waiting is the tough part! With my kids, they fight the entire time they were waiting for their turn. The Inspired Housewife posted this great idea to keep everyone entertained at the same time! I love this super slip and slide! Unfortunately, my backyard, in the desert has NO grass….it’s dirt. So no slip and slide for us or we would have a mud pit, which would turn into a mud wrestling ring in no time, I’m sure of it!
Here is how she says she made it!
“…we went to the hardware store and bought a 20′ x 25′ piece of visqueen for about $10. We simply spread it on the grass, squirted some generic brand baby shampoo on it, turned on a sprinkler and called it a super slip and slide…
I can’t begin to tell you how much they loved it!
We have learned over the years to not to buy the black visqueen…way too hot! And even with the clear…you want to remove it right after the party or you will have baked grass.”
