Review + Giveaway: Zippies
Zippies are a pretty neat thing for your children! They are identification tags you can add to backpacks, water bottles, or whatever to help identify the object. They have a neat little bungie cord on them at that can use used or you can remove it for a keychain-like effect.
When I opened the package I thought they were really cute, and actually had a bit of weight to them. Super cute and on the back there is a spot to put contact information. I immediately took one and put my son’s name and his bus number at attached it to his backpack. He is in Kindergarten and I still get nervous that he is going to forget. I mean, you just never know. The kids loved them so much though, they were fighting over who got what colors. I picked out 3 for my son and 2 for my daughter..since my son is younger he gets an extra one. I think he needs more of a reminder and the teachers can look on his bag or whatever to help her figure out where he’s supposed to be going.
The first week of school my son forgot his lunch box each day he took it and then began to to forget his water bottle on the playground. HOW can he forget it every single day?! So I decided it was time to label those as well, so when he did forget them, a teacher could get them to the right classroom. I put a Zippie on his water bottle and he thought it was the coolest thing ever. When the kids got home from school, my daughter says, “I found Diego’s water bottle on the playground this afternoon, I knew it was his because I saw the Zippie”. So it worked! Yay! He hasn’t lost his water bottle since!
