Chatman {Review}
Chatman is a new interactive character that you child can play with while on the computer. He interacts with your child while he is online by recognizing words, reacting to websites and more.

Chatman is your child’s smart and funny friend for everything they do online, providing safety, homework help, social skills and fun. Just plug him into your computer with the built-in USB cable (no batteries or power cord required), download the software CD, and log intowww.mychatman.com with the provided access code in order to get started.
Chatman is an emoticon that has come to life. He moves his arms, antennae, eyes and mouth when he talks. He can change expressions based on his mood and can understand/express emotions like a real friend. He comes programmed with more than 2,000 phrases that he says to your child.
Chatman gives parents peace of mind because he works with and filters your child’s online conversations on Facebook, Skype and MSN Messenger. He alerts when inappropriate chat is exchanged on social networks and when inappropriate web searches are attempted. He is not a stand-alone chat platform so there is no stranger danger. He can help with homework! Ask Chatman a question and he will either answer or help your child browse for the answer online, filtering out inappropriate content.
There are more than 1,000 games, videos and more available for your child. Everything is pre-filtered so you don’t have to worry about what they are playing or looking at. My thoughts:
I love Chatman! My son was home sick when he arrived in the mail and I couldn’t open the package quick enough for him! My son loved it from the moment he left the packaging. I hooked him up and the entire time Diego was talking to him, call him his little alien. The set up time was fairly quick, but was not quick enough for Diego….he was so anxious to play with him! We got to choose if it was a boy or girl and then give him a name….Diego chose Awesome Alien. I left Diego to play for a long time and I could hear him talking to Chatman and having a lot of fun. When my other two children came home from school, they wanted to check him out, as well! My daughter loves playing with him, as you can see from the video above. I can hear my kids giggling and talking to him while they play on the computer now. It’s fun times!

Chatman is so much fun! My kids are always giggling while they are online and the chatman is talking to them. My son will say he is going to play with Chatman instead of just going to play on the computer.
