Having three children of my own, I remember each of them getting their first teeth. It is fun to see them get that little tooth to poke through after days and days of crying and screaming. I can remember trying to brush their little teeth with a toothbrush and having them just try to bite it. I don’t know how much actual brushing got done, I think it was more just screwing on the brush, but at least I tried. :)
Spiffies was designed to help parents of teething babies. They are these neat little teething wipes that you put on your finger. You can rub your baby’s gums to help ease the pain of teething while still brushing their teeth! Great idea, right?
Individually packaged towelettes containing a xylitol rich formula, Spiffies Cleaning and Teething Wipes have been shown to be therapeutic for reducing bacteria in the mouth, as lower bacteria levels means fewer or no cavities! Great for using on-the-go or when baby is asleep, and especially after night time feedings. Invented by pediatrician Ray Wagner, MD, parents have claimed that they also soothe inflamed gums when cooled in the fridge much like the cool compress and massage recommended by the AAP. www.spiffies.com

The wipes are so easy to use. Just wrap them around your finger and you can wipe their little teeth and gums clean. My nephew thought they were great. His little teeth got cleaned better than I thought they could and it was so easy. He seemed to happy and was all smiles after they were cleaned. It’s amazing how a fresh, clean mouth can make you feel so good!

It isn’t really too funny… but my son thinks he is sneaking up on the dogs but he growls when he does it…:) He is 10 months old.
My 2 year old heard me say, “Oh crap!” and has started repeating it. For a while I succesfully got her to say “Oh man!” Or “Oh goodness!” but then I slipped again and said, “Oh crap.” I got her trained again not so say it (and tried my best not to let it slip out of my mouth. Then my husband said, “Crappy” without even realizing it until my daughter repeated him.
