ZeroWater {Review & Giveaway}

Water is so important, especially now that it is getting warmer outside and you can dehydrate so quickly.  In New Mexico it is so easy to get dehydrated due to our extremely dry climate.

I hate water.

I can’t drink it.  I don’t like that taste..I know it shouldn’t taste like anything, but it does.  It reminds me of licking a rock.  Even when I buy the big 5 gallon jugs of water, it still doesn’t taste “good”.  I mean, it tastes WAY better than drinking from the faucet, but still, it’s hard for me to drink a full glass of water.

I was asked to try out the ZeroWater pitcher.  This has a built in filter that cleans the water as you fill the pitcher with water.  I wasn’t sure what to think about it, because, well, the filtered water I buy tastes funky, so how can tap water that runs through this pitcher be any good?  Boy, I was wrong!

I filled the pitcher with water and it went through the big filter, filling up the pitcher.  It does take a few minutes to fill.  The water tastes AMAZING!  It is so clean.  Woah!  What happened here?!?  Did this water really come from my faucet?!?

The pitcher fits easily in my fridge for everyone to quickly grab a glass of nice, cold, delicious water.  The pitcher is neat because you can either pour it out or there is a little piece at the bottom you can use to dispense the water.  The top of the pitcher has this little machine is a TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) tester.  You take it off, remove the cap, push the on button then put it in a glass of water.  This reading will tell you how dirty your water really is.  I was DISGUSTED to see how gross my tap water was…..

Yes, that reads 243!  How nasty!  That is a really big number.  No wonder my water tastes gross from the faucet.  We can’t even make ice cubes with that water or they make your drink taste funky.  It makes sense now!

So I wonder what the reading will be on my filtered 5-gallons of water that I bought…..

That is so much better!  It read 17!  Yep, that is a huge improvement from the 243 my tap water was…but it still is higher than it could be!  Okay, so time to test out the water from the ZeroWater pitcher…..

Yeah, you are reading that number right…it says 000!  Totally clean!  How did that come out of my tap?!?  My tap water read 243 and after going through this filter it now says 000!  Amazing stuff!

I don’t think I will ever buy water again…and this amazing tasting water has actually got me drinking water now.  That is an amazing thing!  My kids are drinking water throughout the day and love how easy it is for them to fill up a bottle to take outside!  Yay!

    The TDS reading at my house (north of Pittsburgh, PA) is 165. We have well water and it tastes horrible!!

  2. London Ingoglia says

    The water here is just gross. When you see things floating in the water you know it’s not a good idea to drink it.

I love comments!
