I have been happy to be helping to coordinate the Ball Hog 3-on-3 Streetball Tournament to help raise funds for Children’s Miracle Network and Dream BIG. It has been quite an adventure for my first event, but has been a lot of fun. We are gearing up for the last weekend of the tournament and couldn’t be more excited!
Our first weekend was amazing. Here are some photos of our winning teams and entertainment:
We had some amazing musicians come out and perform live for us! It was Cinco de Mayo weekend, so we had a blast with all of the music and dancing!
It was so much fun, but was a lot of time out in the sun. I was lucky that while at Hispanicize in Miami, I was given a bottle of L’Oreal Sublime Sun sunscreen in SPF 50. I didn’t burn..at all! I tried to get everyone to put it on, and few of the guys were being stubborn and didn’t use any…guess what? They burned! The next day when we sprayed them down, they were surprised at how well it worked and that it didn’t feel greasy. I used it on my face, which is normally very sensitive and it didn’t make my face break out like normal sunscreen does. Kudos to L’Oreal! I will keep this in stock over the summer! That is my public service announcement for skin care. :) Always protect your skin when you are out in the sun!

Don’t play ball? It’s okay, come show your support!
Not everyone plays basketball, and we know that! You can still come out to show your support! We will have music playing and lots of fun going on! Come on out to the Walmart on Coors and I40 on Saturday May 19 or Sunday May 20 anytime between 9am and 3pm! Be sure to come and say hello!
