Nursing in public has always made me nervous. I don’t want to make anyone around me uncomfortable and I don’t want my post baby belly exposed for everyone to see. While nursing my second child I discovered that I could wear a nursing tank under my shirt and nurse the baby in public with almost no skin showing. This is great. However, I am large chested and nursing tanks are not super supportive.

After wearing the Leading Lady tank for several weeks I can honestly say I am happy with it. It is a great length and doesn’t ride up like other tanks I have tried. My mid section got full coverage during all public nursing sessions. The tanks smooth design and the fact that it doesn’t bunch or ride up made it almost invisible under my shirt. The Leading Lady nursing tank provides full breast coverage so I can wear it around the house without a shirt over and not worry about showing too much cleavage if we get a surprise visitor at the door. The clasps are sturdy and easy to fasten and unfasten quickly. The support was average for a nursing tank. I won’t be able to run or jump on the trampoline with the kids in this nursing tank but for normal day to day activity it is just fine. The chocolate colored tank that I got is a 95% cotton, 5% spandex blend but the black and white tanks have 92% cotton and 8% spandex which may make those tanks more supportive.
