Model Latina Season Premiere

I am addicted to model shows. There are more and more on TV, but this one has me so excited to watch! Model Latina South Beach is beginning this next week and I can’t wait to watch! It will be premiering on nuvoTV on May 28, 2012 10pm EST.

Model Latina is in it’s 5th season and am so excited they are in Miami! I was just out there last month and the area is gorgeous! If you haven’t been to Miami before, it is one of those places you must visit at least once! It is so pretty and the trends are hot! I can’t wait to see how the beautiful women do in such an amazing place.

I must admit that prior to hearing about this premiere I hadn’t watched Model Latina before. I had never heard of it….after watching the Sneak Peek Video, I was hooked! I started searching and spent hours watching clips on YouTube and then found them on Hulu to stream. I have watched the last season and am working my way backwards to fully watch all four of the past seasons!

One thing I really like that you don’t see in other modeling shows is that the photographers and judges don’t try to hide the fact that these women are sexy. I hate when I hear the judges on other shows telling the girls to not show off their curves and to quit being sexy. I don’t know if it’s possible for a Latina to not be sexy. Women are sexy, show it off and be proud.

During the last season, they weighed each girl and set them up on a program to make sure they were all fit. Girls that were very thin for their height were put into a program to ensure they were healthy and not trying to be too thin. I think this is great. Some of us have a really high metabolism, but not everyone. I love that they are making sure that the girls are healthy. Just because a girl is thin, does not mean they are healthy, just like a girl that is considered overweight does not mean they are unhealthy. Women are different and I’m glad they are ensuring that everyone is healthy, regardless of their size.
