Orgullosa is a movement by Proctor and Gamble to help celebrate Latinas. It is easy to judge someone by their background, their culture, their heritage. It shouldn’t be this way. You should be judged on your accomplishments, your drive, your passion. I have recently spent a lot of time with groups of Latinas. Guess what? We are the largest group of supporters that you will ever see. We are smart, creative and love to help one another.

Being a Latina women, I am often looked at as if I am not as smart as others, or I am not as competent as others. I do not believe that. That doubt pushes me forward and makes me want to prove them wrong. You can’t judge a book by it’s cover.
I have worked hard to get to point that I am in life. I worked from the bottom up and am proud of what I have accomplished. I am not only a mother of three..I am a business woman. I not only write for my own successful blog, I also help in the planning of large events for charity and work as a social media consultant. I am passionate when I work on something and give it my all. I don’t slack or allow others to put me down. I am an Orgullosa Latina. I am proud of who I am and what I can achieve.
You don’t think I can do it? No worries, I’ll prove you wrong!
Being Latina, I put my mind to it and don’t stop until I reach my goal. I don’t care what obstacles stand in my way.
Several days ago I spent two days with a group of about 13 Latinas. It was the most amazing experience! We are a team. We want to see each other succeed and love watching each other do well. Latinas do not let others stand in their way…they push through the obstacles…and can do it looking amazing. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a better looking group of people! As Latinas it is important for us to share with each other and stand by one another. We understand one another and can help each other through the struggles.
Being a part of Orgullosa.com allows me to connect with so many new Latinas. We all share the same morals, values and history. Our families might be miles and miles away, but we share the same traditions and can connect on a different level than other groups.
I am Orgullosa. I am strong, I am intelligent, I am creative, I am motivated…I am Latina. Don’t count me out. You’d be surprised at the ideas I have and things I can accomplish.
