Pizza is always one of the top choices when I ask opinions for dinner. We have tried so many different varieties, but I must admit that this Pizza Nachos recipe has got to be one of my favorites! It is quick, easy and YUMMY! I found the original recipe on Food Network, but added a little extra to it…I mean, you can’t have pizza without pepperoni and black olives!
Ingredients:
- Baguette (I couldn’t find any at the store, so I used to smaller sized french breads)
- Olive Oil
- Pizza Sauce
- 2-3 cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
- Pizza Toppings
Directions:
Slice your bread in thin slices. Coat with a small amount olive oil and place on a baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees or until they begin to lightly crisp. Remove from oven.
Rearrange bread (if you keep it in the same place, the bread on the bottom will get really toasted. Spoon pizza sauce over the tops of the bread then cover with cheese. You can add as much or as little of these as you’d like. Top with your favorite pizza toppings. I used mini pepperoni pieces and black olives, but you could use ham, pineapple, peppers, onions…whatever! Return to over and bake until cheese has melted.
Serve and enjoy!
