Summer is here and that means there will be a lot of house guests coming around as they travel on their vacations.  You want to be sure your guest bathroom is inviting and as well put together as possible.  I know that money can be tight over the summer.  You want to save the money you can, I mean, school is right around the corner!  Check out these quick and easy ways to make your bathroom look better, smell better and be a little more germ-free!

First and foremost, get that bathroom cleaned up and with matching towels and rugs.  As you can see, I have a bamboo theme in my guest bathroom.  I have the same green towels and floor rug to match the bamboo trashcan I based my entire bathroom on.  Yep, I bought the can first and then decorated around it.  It is the easiest way to go, because you can find towels and rugs in every color under the sun.

Buy something pretty for the walls.  I wanted something to fill this big empty space on my wall, so I went to a craft store and found this tall painting for about $10.  It was such a great buy and fills the space perfectly.  You can do several small pictures or a larger one like this….just put something pretty that matches your decor up in the empty space on your walls.

You want your bathroom to smell pretty.  Add a little essential oil to the inside of your roll of toilet paper.  Each time the roll is used, more of the scent is put into the air.

You can also add a little bowl of potpourri to your bathroom.  I found this cute little mini trifle glass at the store for less than $2 and added a small amount of potpourri that I bought for another dollar.   It is easy, cheap and you can get it to match the scent you placed in your toilet paper roll.

Next to my pretty new towels I placed the most important thing….Kleenex Hand Towels.  These help to keep the spread of germs to a minimum since they are thrown away after use.  I took the box and flipped it upside down to be held by the same bar that is holding my towel.  This also helps to keep my towels looking pretty since I won’t have the kids wiping their grimy hands on them all day long!

There is a whole Clean Hands Campaign happening right now!  By joining you help to ensure your friends and family have a clean, fresh, dry towel every time!  Join the 14 million people who have already joined the Clean Hands campaign by using Kleenex Hand Towels….click here for savings and more!
