When I ask my kids want they want for breakfast, the answer is almost always IHOP! They love the pancakes and choice of syrups….I know when I was a kid, that was such a treat for me! Where else can you mix and match your syrups as you keep eating your pancakes?
I heard about IHOP’s new Signature Pancakes and was intrigued. Red Velvet Pancakes?!?!? Could it be true??! Whole Wheat Pancake, yummy and nutritious! Sweet Strawberry Pancakes? Can’t be any more summery than that!
We decided to treat our youngest to a special breakfast with just mommy and daddy….he always loves those!
This is the menu we saw when we sat down. O M G! How can I choose?!?!? I went with the Red Velvet and my husband got the Whole Wheat Pancakes…of course our little man wanted silver dollar pancakes and there is no one that can change his mind when he has it made up….lol!
The best part about these pancakes is, you choose the type of pancake and then the type of sides you want. My husband and I both went for the Bacon and Eggs Combo, sans eggs…extra hashbrowns. The only person in our entire family that eats eggs is our youngest…..the rest of us could live without them…..but bring on the papas! We love potatoes!
I know your mouth is watering! They taste just as good as they look! I loved my Red Velvet pancakes, although when I order them again, I will leave off the cream cheese icing. It was a little sweet for my liking, but delicious none-the-less. My husband loved the Whole Wheat pancakes and didn’t have anything bad to say about the entire meal. Yum!

I don’t know which I want to say the red velvet but the strawberry sounds great too! It has been year since I went to IHOP but there is going to be one where I am going to next month so I may stop in
