Nail art is a huge thing. Nails are getting crazier and crazier with the things that people are coming up with. I was looking through Pinterest and started to see a trend of different out-of-the-ordinary nail art that people were pinning. I compiled a list of some of my favorite and “wow, what are they thinking” character nail art from across the web. Some are cutesy, some are just out there.
Let’s take a look!
I admit that I love Monsters, Inc. as much as the next person…and the Sully nail is pretty cute, but I don’t know if I’d go as far as to have my nails painted like this.
You can channel in your inner 80′s child and get some Pac-Man nail art done. I must admit I kinda love the ghosts…what are all of their names again? I can’t remember, but I know they always caught me!
Although I’m not a Beatles fan, I must admit these nails are pretty neat! You have to be a pretty amazing artist to draw faces on a set of nails like this!
Have a little bit of tom boy in your blood? A love for Batman? These nails look pretty cool, although I don’t know you could do this with real nails…these would have to be fake. Could you cut your nails into this shape? Would you want to?
I must admit I kinda love Alice in Wonderland. The Cheshire Cat is my absolute favorite. These nails are quite a work of art. I love the multiple layers and scenes on each nail.
My favorite character in the movie Bambi has always been Flower. He is SO cute and shy and I just want to squeeze him! But not really because he’s spray me and that’s gross….but I have to admit that I have fallen in love with these nails. They are super cute and look at that face….what isn’t to love?!?
Who lives in a pineapple under the sea? Spongebob SquarePants! My kids used to be obsessed with this cartoon and I was so glad when they got over it. We rarely have to hear that annoying laugh in the house. While I can’t stand the cartoon, I have to admire the work they put into these Spongebob nails!
Can you tell me how to get…how to get to Sesame Street?! We may never know the way, but you can still remember these cheerful characters from our childhood. Who didn’t love Sesame Street?!
I wonder if Spiderman Nail Art would help with your Spidey Sense? I admit these are pretty neat and I might have to recreate these Spiderman Nails here soon. I wonder if a silver Sharpie would work for those webs?! hmmm……
My favorite story growing up and to this day is One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish by Dr. Suess. I get so excited when my kids read it. These nails are a great tribute to the book that so many loved as a child.
What do you think? Would you wear character nails like these or are they too “out there” for you?
