I was asked to try some products from Perfectly Posh and was very intrigued. I hadn’t heard of them before but found they are paraben-free, paraffin-free, SLS-free and spa-grade! That sounds great….if they work. Since they are made in the USA, they get brownie points! I was sent a variety of products to try and give my opinion, all thumbs up!
I received the BIG Fat Yummy Hand Creme in Sassyooma, Sugar Fix All-Over-Your-Body Sugar Scrub and LipShot LipBalm in Raspberry Bang-Bang.
I was really excited to see that Karla had sent me lotion. I kind of have a slight addiction to hand lotions…especially when they smell good. Of course the first thing I did was open this bottle to see how it smelled. It has a citrus, orange-ish type of smell. It was a little strong, but the strongness fades and you just keep this light, orange smell on your hands. Hours later if my hands are near my face I can smell it. Oh..and it makes your hands SO soft. It contains apriot-kernel oil, which contains high levels of vitamins A and E.
Even more than lotion, I am addicted to lip balm, lip gloss or whatever smooth and silky I can put on my lips. I will put balm or gloss on my lips all day long! I opened this right away and applied it to my lips. It is smooth, not greasy and feels really great on my lips. You can tell from the wrapper that I’ve used it quite a bit..I carry it in my pocket at all times. My lips haven’t been softer! This balm is made with shea butter and almond oil to moisturizer your lips for the entire day. I love the way it feels on my lips. Hubby seems to think it’s pretty good as well! ;)
I had never tried a sugar scrub before, but was excited to see how it would work. I noticed it was very gritty but smelled delicious. Before I jumped in the shower I rubbed it all over my body. I quickly learned that I needed to use a little water so it wasn’t so thick…again, I’d never tried it before so I had no idea. After my body was covered in this gritty sugar I hopped in the shower and scrubbed it all off. It did an amazing job smoothing out my arms and legs but was a little rough on my chest…the skin was soft there already, I think I just got excited to try it and went overboard. :)
