When it comes to my kitchen, bright colors and whimsical doo dads always win. I want to be happy in my kitchen…I spend a LOT of time cooking for my family. I was looking over the World Market website and realized that I could change the entire look and feel of my kitchen with just a few fun items!
These are my favorites, and what I love about them:
The Owl Timers are just adorable. I always try to use the timer on my microwave and then realize I need to use my microwave for something and end up ending my timer and forgetting food. These cute little owls could keep me company and remind me when it’s time to turn off the food!
The Floral Measuring Spoons are so cute! I love the flowers on them. For some reason they remind me of the pictures my parents have from me being born in Portugal. They just have an old-timey feel to them and I love it.
The Star Petite Pie Mold is aMaZiNg! I love stars. I would love to make little treats for my kids in the shape of a star! If food is in a shape it just tastes better! Stars make things that much better!
I really want to learn to bake. I mean, I can make a cake that tastes good..but decorating it is where I lack skill. I think the cute little Frosting Bottles would help so much with that! If nothing else, they’d be super cute to fill and try to use!
Again, all foods in a shape taste better. Don’t you think that pancakes in the shape of a butterfly would taste amazing in the morning?! The mold would help you to be sure it actually looked like a butterfly and not just an odd shaped blob.
I am always chopping something and hate to get out a HUGE cutting board to cut one tomato or whatever. The Bar Boards would be perfect, and the colors and so bright and cheerful!
I am so bad about making a mess when I pour liquid from a bowl. I really love the Silicone Pour Spouts that attach to the side of your bowls.
A Cuisinart Mini Prep Food Processor is a must have in my kitchen. I use it all.the.time. I go through them pretty quickly actually because I use them on a daily basis! I use it to chop so much….especially my green chile (only those from New Mexico will understand that!).
The Fall Multicolored Wire Whisk caught my eye immediately. I love all the different colors on just one whisk. It looks so much fun. Check out the cool curls at the end too, I bet it would mix like a champ.
I have a rack to hang my pots, but would love a set of Hanging Bowls. These would be great hung up and out of the way because they take up way too much space in the cabinets.
