My daughter loves Polly Pocket. When I received the Playtime Pet Shop to review, she couldn’t wait to open it. Seriously, she begged to open it right away. I told her to calm down, I needed to take pictures. She didn’t want to wait at all. She thought this was the coolest Polly Pocket yet. I mean, animals are cute, but little animals are that much cuter!
I managed to get a picture before she tore into it. She was already trying to get the animals out through little holes in the box! Good thing they did a good job of securing everything! When I began to open the box, I dreaded having to take all the pieces out and get the pet shop off the card board….that is always a pain when they do things like using screws to secure it. This Polly Pocket set was different though….let me show the greatest thing I have seen for a toy…
These are the plastic pieces that held the pet store in place. You just easily twist the plastic and it unhooks. It was the easiest thing I have ever seen! Toys are normally a pain to get out, but just a few twists and the whole thing came out of the box. Honestly, this is my favorite part of the toy! :) Kudos to Mattel!
My kids love the Polly Pocket Playtime Pet House. Notice that was KIDS….that’s because my 6-year-old son loves the set as well. He will sit with his sister and play for a long time. Wow. No fighting or anything. Just fun, using their imagination and having a good time.
They like to watch the Polly Pocket DVD while they are playing as well. They will take breaks from playing to watch, then realize they were playing and go back to the toys. It’s pretty cute.
