BOO ghost milk shooters

Halloween is fast approaching!  Why not start getting your kids in the mood with some fun Halloween-inspired foods and treats.  They are really easy to make and so much fun! The above picture is a great example of how easy it is to make food fun!  Milk shooters are a fun way to get even the anti-milk drinker to take a quick swig.  Cover the rim in Nutella (or the likes) and then cover in sprinkles.  While this recipe uses a black marker for the eyes and mouth, you could try and put a few dabs of the nutella on the inside of the glass to show through to create the face.  :)

Here’s some more great ghostly ideas:

Cupcakes are always fun to decorate.  This team of ghosts are simply adorable and would be welcome in my house any day!  What do you think they are made of?  There weren’t any directions with the picture….hmmmm…..

I’m a sucker for Nutter Butters…..they are my favorite!  I never would have thought to cover them in white chocolate and add chocolate chip eyes!  Super adorable and sounds delish!

Ghost Treat Bags

I love these ghost treat bags showcased on my friend’s site, About A Mom.  My kids LOVE marshmallows (what kid doesn’t) and these are simple!  What a fabulous idea for friends at school!

This is such a cute way to use Halloween-themed peeps!  First off, these are smores inspired, which get two thumbs up from me.  Secondly, reusing peeps is so much fun and I love toasting them…so this is a great idea!

Pretzel sticks are great for parties or school events.  You can wrap each individually to give to friends.  These ghosts are simply adorable.  They don’t take long to make (or much skill) and are really fun.  I think even I can handle dipping a large pretzel stick in some white chocolate and adding mini chocolate chip eyes and mouth.

Nearly every day I get asked if we can have pizza for dinner.  I think if I made the cheese look like ghosts my kids would go crazy with it!  We’d be eating pizza every night!  I love these simple ideas to make dinner fun!
