Pomegranate is my favorite flavor when it is available. When I heard about pomagria, I knew it was a must have! The holidays are here and there are going to be a lot of times we are invited to parties and want to taka a little gift for the host(ess). There is nothing better than to surprise them with a bottle of wine.
I was sent two bottles to try out, one of pomagria and the other Mermelada.
Pomagria is the first pomegranate-flavored sangia to be released in the US market. It has a bold flavor and is rich in antioxidents. The pomegrante is a beautiful, deep red color, and packs an intense flavor. Pomagria is a mixture of pomegranate juice, red wine and oranges, giving it a slight tartness.
The Mermelada is a red wine from Spain. The sassy and sweet red wine is made from the classic red grape of Spain, Tempranillo. When the grapes are ripened just perfect, they are harvested and create this delicious wine. It is fruity and sweet, but one glass packs a punch.
So many of my friends drink Sangria, and I had never tried it before. I had to try pomagria when I saw it available. I normally do not drink wine, however was curious to try it out. While it was a little strong for my palate, you could definalately taste the pomegranate in it.
I asked my friend to try the Mermelada and she said it was amazing. One glass and she could already feel it, but she said it was very tasty and she loved it.
When you are trying to decide what to take when you are invited to a party, dinner or anything else, surprise them with one of these delicious wines. They will love it!
