Living in Burque….

I’ve lived in the Albuquerque area most of my life.  This is my home.  This is where my heart is.

While I was in LA last week, I was talking about Albuquerque and telling everyone how amazing this area is.  Our area is full of culture, amazing food and people.  Everyone asked if I worked for the tourist department.  I laughed and said I didn’t, but I should be an ambassador for the city.  :)  I love it here and there are so many amazing things to do and see…we forget living here for so long.  My goal is to start visiting all these places and sharing my experiences and lots of pictures!

Recently I ran across a Facebook page that I fell in love with.  Inhabitants of Burque.  He does an amazing job of showcasing the wide variety of people in our area.  We are very diverse and there are so many people doing amazing things.  For him to showcase so many of these people, I’m just floored.   We’ve needed this for a long time.

A Burque Minute – Episode 1 from Inhabitants of Burque on Vimeo.

There is a new weekly segment they began called “A Burque Minute”.  The first installment is listed above.  Please take a look. Hakim Bellamy does such an amazing job.  I have watched it about 5 times already…and I just saw it for the first time less than an hour ago.

Please, watch the video, show Inhabitants of Burque some love and leave me a comment if you live in the area and love it as much as I do.  :)

I love comments!
