Last month when I headed to P&G I learned how amazing Tide really was. I knew my Grandma had always used Tide and Downy. The smell of either one reminds me of her. She wouldn’t wash a load without it. Her clothes always looked great and smelled fantastic. I thought it was because she was my Grandma and just really great at laundry…which it might have been, but Tide and Downy also helped!
If you remember back, I explained how Tide removes stains from clothes. Downy also protects clothing, in addition to make them super soft and smelling fantastic. Each fiber is protected when Downy (or Tide) is added to the laundry.
I had be making my own detergent to save money. We started to notice my husband’s work shirts had little stains that looked like grease on them. I didn’t understand what it was, and blamed him for being a messy eater. Well, I found out that it was probably because I wasn’t able to mix the detergent well enough. I knew it was an issue, but didn’t realize it was going to stain our clothes! I’m never using homemade detergent again….regardless of how much money I could save. In the long run I spend WAY MORE on replacing stained clothes!
Tide has released their newest product, Tide Pods and OH EM GEEE! I love them! They are filled with the perfect amount of Tide to clean your clothing perfectly. You don’t have to think about it. You don’t have to worry about spilling either! Just throw one in the wash and you are good to go! You do have to be sure your hands are dry though! The coating will come right off when water touches it!
We tested the coating when we were out at P&G. We covered a cup filled with marbles with the film. We shook, shook, shook and the film didn’t break at all. No matter how much pressure we put, the film didn’t budge! Just add water and it’s a totally different story!

My laundry tip is to fold clothes right out of the dryer before they get wrinkly. Thanks for the chance to win!

Laundry tip is to use a mesh bag to hold bras and special items so they don’t get ruined during the wash cycle.
always seperate your clothes into like wise bundles to avoid ruined clothes
I always soak clothes that are going to be a little harder to clean
Do a second rinse when there is stuff like grass or tissue pieces on laundry.
I separate by colors an read the detergent measuring instructions (because some detergents are more concentrated than other)
I add white vinegar instead of fabric softener when I’m washing towels. It keeps them soft and absorbent
i always seperate your clothes!
