Happy Holidays!

It’s the season for parties and friends.  We hop from one to another it seems.  I mean, you don’t want to miss anything, but my goodness, how can you keep up?  It isn’t always easy.  Using products that are long-lasting is the best way to keep looking fresh from one to the next.  I’m happy to be using Neutrogena products from head to toe to keep my look quick and easy, but flawless.

The look above is one of my natural look for day-to-day and easy to adapt for after hours parties.  I like wearing this every day, around the house, to the store, to work..really anywhere.  Go for bolder colors for nighttime and you’ll be set.

Here’s how I got the look:

1521488_10151779080540881_82425080_nFirst using a foundation brush, buff in Neutrogena Shine Control Liquid Makeup.  I love that is feels light on my skin but provides even coverage for at least 8 hours.

To provide a glow to your cheeks without looking unnatural, use a bronzer across the apples of your cheeks.

To give a finished look and help it set, using a large brush, apply Neutrogena Shine Control Powder to entire face.  You may not look shiny because of the liquid make up you applied, but the powder does help to set everything and makes it last longer.  Promise.  I love love love this powder because it doesn’t look powdery on your skin, but it cuts down on the shine for a really long time.

My eyes have a coat of Neutrogena Crease Proof Eye Shadow in Constant Copper.  I love how the shadow is in a stick, so you don’t have to worry about a brush and if you need to touch up later, it’s okay because you can just swipe the stick along your lids.  You probably won’t need to reapply though, it lasts up to 12 hours!  A thin layer of black eye liner and a few coats of mascara in black is perfect to make my eyes pop.

To give my lips a soft, natural look, I applied Neutrogena MoistureSmooth Color Stick in Fresh Papaya.  The color is soft, but the smell is amazing.  I can’t even explain what it smells like, but I love it.  I can put the gloss on all day, over and over.  Coolest part of the Color Stick?  It rolls up, so you don’t have to worry about sharpeners or it getting too dull to work.

If I’m in a hurry and want a fresh coat of makeup, I like to carry Neutrogena Makeup Remover Towelettes in my purse.  They do a great job of removing my makeup without leaving a film on my skin.  I don’t like to use them every day, because, well, I like cleanser and water, but if I have a lot of makeup on my eyes, I always use one of these to take off that excess so I don’t have raccoon eyes.  We all hate those!

If you want a bolder look for a party, add a brighter, bolder eye color along with a thicker eye liner and some bold lips.  You’ll be the hottest at the party and no one will know how easy it was to get this awesome look.

Awe, thanks so much. Neutrogena makeup is something I started using not long ago and it’s as great as the cleansers. :) The foundation is so amazing…I HATE the thick feeling on my skin of some of them. :)
