Last week I was able to visit the Heart of Style at Burlington in Albuquerque. I got to meet with Women Heart to have my blood pressure checked along with other vitals. After I was done, I took a stroll into the Burlington store to find a dress. While I wanted a red dress, I couldn’t find any I liked in my size…being a size 1/3 has it’s drawbacks…..Nearly all my clothes must be bought in the juniors section.
Luckily, I was able to find a really cute dress, in a size small in the women’s area this time. I had been eyeing some of the high-low dresses lately, but hadn’t found any patterns I liked….until now. I found this gorgeous dress in a blue and aqua pattern. I paired it with a jean jacket and boots for a complete outfit, perfect for spring, since you know, it’s cold in the mornings and hot in the afternoons.
Isn’t the dress perfect for Spring?! Now, my main reason for heading to Burlington wasn’t the dress…it was to get my screening done. Check out this awesome tour bus:
While you go inside the bus, you are asked several questions about family history, your history and then are weighed, waist measured and have your blood pressure checked. At the end you are given a card with all your numbers, including your BMI. Now I posted this because it shows that I am within the “optimal level” for my BMI. Those that say I need to gain weight or try to feed me all the time….back off! 🙂 I’m where I need to be…barely, but I’m there!
You can still get your screening done, if you are in a few select areas. The Heart of Style will be visiting several locations throughout the end of the month. For a full list of locations, check here: http://www.burlingtoncoatfactory.com/Repository/en-US/RedDress/HeartOfStyle_TourDates.pdf
